UNIPROT ID:   O60911 (Gene Accession - BC110512 )
Background:    The protein encoded by this gene, a member of the peptidase C1 family, is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase that may play an important role in corneal physiology. This gene is expressed in colorectal and breast carcinomas but not in normal colon, mammary gland, or peritumoral tissues, suggesting a possible role for this gene in tumor processes. Alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using 210199(CTSV Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 210199(Anti-CTSV Antibody) at dilution 1/50.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human colorectal cancer tissue using 210199(Anti-CTSV Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human colorectal cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D120360(Anti-CTSV Antibody) at dilution 1/50.
