Background:    This gene is imprinted, with preferential expression of the maternal allele. The encoded protein is a tight-binding, strong inhibitor of several G1 cyclin/Cdk complexes and a negative regulator of cell proliferation. Mutations in this gene are implicated in sporadic cancers and Beckwith-Wiedemann syndorome, suggesting that this gene is a tumor suppressor candidate. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human colorectal cancer tissue using 213422(CDKN1C Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50(Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human colorectal cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 213422(Anti-CDKN1C Antibody) at dilution 1/50.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue using 213422(Anti-CDKN1C Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D160160(Anti-CDKN1C Antibody) at dilution 1/50.
